As part of teaching activities on May 27, 2019, students of the final year of the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering - University of Tuzla led by Prof. Dr. Dinka Pašic- Škripic and Prof. Dr. Izet Žigic, Director of the Federal Institute of Geology, Academician prof. Dr Hazim Hrvatovic and Head of the Department of Geology of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry Begajeta Habota, visited Adriatic Metals.

During the field visit, students had the opportunity to see iron ore open pit Smreka and lead, zinc and barite open pit on Veovaca. The attendees visited the premises of Adriatic Metals Company where they were introduced to the activities of this company in the municipality of Vareš, the mode of operation and the latest methods used. “This was a very important visit for students because they do not have the opportunity to see such a high-quality approach to exploring mineral deposits”, said Professor Hrvatovic.

Mr. Miloš Bošnjakovic, one of Adriatic Metal's directors, said that this was the second visit of students to Adriatic Metals and that they are very satisfied with the established cooperation with students and professors of the RGGF Tuzla. "Young people, through these visits, have the opportunity to see the work of geologists in the field. We are proud that Adriatic Metals has both domestic and international experts in this area as well as a group of young geologists who have the opportunity to work and learn." said Mr Bošnjakovic.

Numerous student's questions and a demonstrated interest in employment in the international team of geologists are indicators that this visit fulfilled their expectations.
